The story

The Challenge

PeDRA had experienced incredible growth since its founding, but its website hadn’t kept pace with the organization it served. Members were showcased on a single, endless “spotlight” page; publications lived in one long list; courses ran on a separate learning system; and member records lived in Salesforce with no connection to any of it. PeDRA needed a platform that could attract a diverse audience of stakeholders while giving active members real working infrastructure. And it had to be live before the Annual Conference. Six months, no slippage.

Our Approach

The deadline shaped the strategy: a disciplined scope, executed precisely. We built a custom seven-template design system plus two directories around a new member portal with integrated courses, migrating PeDRA off its separate learning system so education lives where the members are. The connective tissue is a two-way Salesforce integration: member data and course progress flow between the website and PeDRA’s CRM automatically, ending double entry. The overlong Member Spotlight page became a searchable member directory populated from Salesforce; the endless publications list became a filterable resource library; the events calendar gained WebEx integration for virtual programming; and corporate membership support opened a new door for industry partners.

Why It Worked

Associations don’t fail on design — they fail on plumbing. Connecting the member database, the learning system, and the public site into one synced platform gave PeDRA infrastructure that compounds, while a ruthlessly scoped six-month plan kept an ambitious build moving at conference speed.

The Results

Deadline-shaped

A disciplined six-month scope built around the Annual Conference, the deadline that defined the project

One platform

Members log in, take courses, and appear in a searchable directory in one place

Two-way sync

Salesforce and the website in constant two-way sync, eliminating manual member-data upkeep

Findable

Resources and publications finally findable, and events integrated with virtual delivery

“We had an overall excellent experience working with Elevation. The process was smooth and mostly seamless from start to finish. The team really understood who we are and what we’re about from the beginning, and they delivered a final product that beautifully reflects our brand and mission. We’re thrilled with the new website and grateful for the partnership!”
