The chapter site that became a blueprint
Junior Achievement of Southern California’s redesign brought JA’s new global brand to life on an accessible, program-forward website — designed so well that other JA chapters now license it.

The story
The Challenge
JA Worldwide had just unveiled a bold new global brand, and JA SoCal’s website couldn’t carry it. The site under-represented the strength of the programs, especially JA Finance Park; information was hard to find; and accessibility was a serious priority the old site didn’t meet. Beyond SoCal’s own needs sat a bigger question: JA’s national network of chapters needed a modern standard for chapter websites, and no suitable one existed.
Our Approach
We designed a five-template site (homepage, Orange County chapter landing page, events, donation, and interior) that translates JA’s new brand guidelines into a living website, with accessibility engineered in from the start and the programs, Finance Park foremost, given the showcase they’d been missing. A content strategy consultation shaped messaging that any chapter could adapt. That was the point: we built JA SoCal’s site to be more than one chapter’s website: a design system deliberately crafted so other JA chapters could license and launch it affordably.
Why It Worked
Chapter networks face the same problem everywhere: national brand, local budgets. Designing one excellent, accessible, brand-true site that scales across chapters gave JA SoCal a flagship — and gave the network a standard it could actually use.
The Results
JA’s new global brand, fully realized on an accessible, program-forward site
JA Finance Park and the program portfolio finally presented at full strength
Elevation’s first chapter-based website program, since licensed by additional JA chapters

Now a blueprint for the whole network.
The design became Elevation’s first chapter-based website program, since licensed and launched by additional JA chapters, and the partnership has grown to include Google Ad Grant management and Website Support.
