  • “As a [TYPE OF USER], I want to [ACTION TO PERFORM], so that I can [GOAL TO COMPLETE].” EXAMPLE 1: As a recently diagnosed patient, I want to learn about my treatment options so I can make the best-informed decision about my future health care plan. EXAMPLE 2: As a lawmaker or legislative staffer, I want to browse information about general areas of policy or find archived reports, so that I can be better informed, craft legislation, or compile research.

  • Example: 1) Increase donations 2) Recruit volunteers, etc
  • Examples: users spend more time on the website, users make more donations, users visit a specific page more frequently, etc.
